Rimetea is an old hungarian village located in the Trascaului depression surrounded by mountains in the north and south Ardascheia Stone Secuiului. The houses are old and people have many local folk art workshops.
In the center there is also a museum of mining and processing of iron with various interesting exhibits
This village had in 17-18 sec a flourishing period due to the existence of iron ore
It is a beautiful view of Secuiului Stone and a trip here is welcome. The climb is not exactly easy but after 2 hours we had a wonderful view of village and the entire valley Rimetea.
The difference in altitude is about 400 meters and many tourists come here because there is paragliding favorable air currents
