Magura cave is one of the most beautiful caves in Romania with many and various chalk formations like montmilch, stalactites, stalagmites and draperies named: the Palm Tree, Genghis Khan’s Helmet, the Great Dome, the Wave’s Gallery and others). Visiting the galleries is almost like going through a maze, but in the company of someone who knows the cave that won’t be a problem.
In spring or in other rainy periods, some of the cave’s galleries are flooded making its visiting even more interesting.

The cave is situated on the right slope of the Sighistelului Valley.
