The natural reservation of Cheile Turzii reveals a wonderfully breathtaking karstic landscape (gorges, caves, towers, walls) sheltering a rich vegetation and fauna, the number of species existing here (of about 1000) being considered the biggest in Romania.
The gorges are considered to be a paradise for climbers who come here during summer, in each weekend, climbing on different routes.
The access is either through the valley, or through the two slopes that form the gorges. Our recommendation is to go through the valley and then return to the guesthouse on the right slope. The delightful view it’s so wide that the tourists, who have a passion for photography, often stay here all day long.
